Writing a vision statement means you are going to describe who you are and what is your intention towards the future. Every person or organization should have their own unique vision, for what reason they are on earth and what they actually want to become or achieve or intend to be in the future.

Do not confuse yourself between “Vision” & “Mission” statement. Both are separate to define, to describe. Vision means “what” you want to become or to achieve or intend to be in the future. While Mission describes “how” you or any organization will achieve predefined vision.

Your personal vision statement must be clear and concise under the range of 50 words. Key elements which are most important for writing vision are: who you are, what you want to become, to achieve in future, it should be 5 years+, should be based as per your interest, beliefs and values.

‘’ Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life and don’t let the noise of other’s  opinions drown out your own inner voice. Most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become.’’    – Steve Jobs
